It's always a joy when you've someone come at home! The day was set apart to give a formal welcome to the first-year students of theology with the canonical attire of the priest along with congratulations and blessings. The day began with Morning Prayer proceeding towards the Holy Eucharist, offered by His Lordship Most Rev. Dr. Raphy Manjaly, the Bishop of Allahabad and the Chairman of the Seminary, and con-celebrated by the members of the staff.
The day was marked by a friendly football match between the new comers and the senior brothers. The match commenced with the plantation of the new saplings of different trees as a sign of new beginning. At 05.30pm in the evening, the new comers introduced themselves to the Josem family in a creative way having put up a formal programme. Rev. Fr. Rector who was the chief guest of the event exhorted the new comers to keep growing. Their animator Rev. Fr. Alok Toppo threw light on the role and the importance of the cassock. The day concluded with a delicious dinner and with lots of joy cheering on the face of new comers.
