Seminar on Extraordinary Mission(ary) Month

Pope Francis declared the month of October 2019 as an extraordinary mission month on the occasion of 100th anniversary of the papal document “Maximum Illud”. In order to know the aim and significance of the declaration, the seminary invited Rev. Fr. Paneer Selvam, the director of SUVARTHA (the commission for proclamation) as the resource person. The motto of the declaration was: “Baptized and sent”. The central point of reflection was ‘to become a missionary disciple’; the important themes discussed were, Personal encounter, testimony, missionary formation, missionary charity. The sessions were inspiring and set the hearts with missionary zeal. Many candidates, both male and female from different formation houses in Allahabad, and many Sisters and Fathers from the local city also participated in the same.
