Diwali at SJRS Community

Diwali, the festival of lights was celebrated with enthusiasm by the Josem community on this day. The day unfolded with lot of joy and excitements commemorating Jesus the light of the world. The center of the day was the Holy Eucharist by Rev. Fr. Dileep Kumar, the visiting professor. He blessed the community with an enlightening homily explaining the importance of the light from different perspectives. At the dusk, the community solemnly ignited the whole house with Diyas and lights accompanied by prayer and blessings from the members of the staff. The day culminated with the thanksgiving meal prepared by the students.
